How to Update Your Profile

SOP: Update Teacher Profile in Boost Your Learning

Objective

  • Note any subject limitations the admin team should know about.

  • Set your preferred lesson gaps.

  • Add any medical conditions the admin team should be aware of.

  • If you are registered for GST, enter your GST number.

5. Select only the subjects you are qualified to teach 1:16

  • Review the subject list carefully.

  • Select only the subjects and year levels you are able to teach.

  • Do not select subjects outside your expertise, as this affects student matching and booking eligibility.

  • Add any extra notes about your subject knowledge if needed.

6. Update subject expertise as your confidence grows 1:58

  • Revisit your subject list whenever your teaching scope changes.

  • Add new subjects only when you are confident you can teach them.

  • Use the additional information field to explain any relevant subject knowledge updates.

7. Set your weekly availability 2:07

  • Choose the day you want to work.

  • Enter your start time and end time for that day.

  • Specify whether you are available online only or at a particular office.

  • Repeat the process for each additional day you want to be available.

8. Confirm availability and manage changes responsibly 2:34

  • Understand that the times entered are the times you can be booked for sessions.

  • Update availability whenever your schedule changes.

  • If you already have a student booked and can no longer work that time, contact the team immediately.

  • If possible, rearrange directly with the student for a different day or time.

Cautionary Notes

  • Only list subjects you are genuinely qualified and willing to teach.

  • Keep your contact details accurate so the admin team can reach you quickly.

  • Do not set availability for times you cannot reliably honor.

  • If you become unavailable after a booking is made, notify the team as soon as possible.

  • Include medical or scheduling limitations only if you want the admin team to be aware of them and can share them appropriately.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Review your profile periodically so it stays current.

  • Update your bio and subject list whenever your experience expands.

  • Keep a copy of your availability schedule nearby before entering it.

  • Make all changes in one session to reduce the chance of missing important fields.

  • Double-check your phone number, email, and lesson times before saving.
