Specific Tools for Math Teachers
You can access the graphing and function tools to make complex mathematical problems visual and accessible to students.
Equation Tool

Click on the Equation tool and choose Formula. Enter your formula into the Equation editor and hit insert to add it to the Whiteboard. You can ask your students to do the same.
Edit your formula

Double-click on your equation or click the Edit Equation button in the floating menu.
Shortcut Toolbar
We've included a shortcut toolbar in the Equation Editor to give you quick access to common symbols you'd use in high school-level Mathematics, li pi, square root, and delta. Clicking any of these buttons will insert the symbol at the current text cursor position, or at the end of the string if the editor form isn't focused.
Advanced Maths and Physics
Lessonspace comes with LaTeX support built in. So you can quickly type a shortcut with a preceding backslash, e.g. \integral, followed by the spacebar, and have that symbol generated automatically.
For more LaTeX commands, check out this cheatsheet.
Tips of Use
Combine the equation tool with the video snapshot tool to take a student's working onto the screen to analyse together.

Graph Mode
Type in the function you want to plot, adjust your view of the axes, and hit the “Insert Plot” button. The graph will be dropped into your whiteboard (just like an image) and you can move it, resize it, and annotate it as you teach.
