At Boost Your Learning, we work alongside schools, kaiako, and whānau to deliver targeted academic support that aligns with classroom learning goals.
Our experienced New Zealand teachers provide personalised one-to-one tuition designed to build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and accelerate academic progress for students from primary through to NCEA Level 3.
We aim to complement the incredible work already happening within schools by providing additional tailored support for learners who may benefit from extra guidance, extension, or intervention.
What We Offer Your School

Expert Teachers: One-to-one support from qualified New Zealand teachers who work collaboratively alongside your school team to support student progress while minimising additional workload for kaiako.

Core Subjects: Specialised one-to-one support in English, Maths, and Science.

All Levels: Support from Primary and Intermediate through to NCEA.

Specialist Support: Experienced teachers available for learners with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and a range of other learning needs ensuring equitable access for some of your most vulnerable learners.

Funded Learning Support or Extensions: Thanks to the generosity of organisations including Ngāi Tahu, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, and Oranga Tamariki, eligible whānau may be able to access funded one-to-one tuition support through approved funding initiatives. Families are welcome to choose from a range of providers. By engaging with Boost Your Learning, whānau receive access to an accelerated learning package tailored to each student’s learning needs.

Diagnostic Assessment: We begin with a robust diagnostic assessment in Literacy or Numeracy to pinpoint specific strengths and learning gaps aligned with the NZ Curriculum.

Goal Alignment: We connect directly with whānau and the student's class teacher to understand the learning objectives and ensure our work directly supports in-class goals.

Tailored One-to-One Support: The matched teacher delivers a unique learning pathway focused on the student's specific needs through weekly lessons at a mutually convenient time.

Clear Reporting: You receive a detailed post-intervention report outlining student progress, making it easy to track results and demonstrate measurable impact. The whānau and student receive weekly lesson notes written in simple language to ensure academic results from whānau partnership.

Most of our support is delivered online via our online learning platform, designed to be as effective and interactive as being in the same room. Working in this way ensures we can provide equitable access to specialists, whereever you are in the country.

Revisit Learning in between sessions: Students can revisit learning in between sessions by viewing video recordings, reentering the space to complete activities and downloading the 'room' as a handy PDF. -
